Our Sites

We run a number of our own website:

Gay Realty Network

GRN was our second directory to launch, in 2001, and remains one of our premium LGBTQ+ directories, featuring queer and queer friendly real estate professionals around the world.

J. Scott Coatsworth

This is Scott’s personal writing site, listing all of his published works and his thoughts about writing and life in general.

Other Worlds Ink

OWI launched in 2018, and is our author services company and publishing arm. Through OWI, we offer blog tours for authors, wordpress web design, graphics work, book formatting, and publishing of some of Scott’s work and the annual Queer Sci Fi flash fiction anthology.

Purple Roofs

Our original directory. We launched it in 1999 after seeing the lack of good queer travel resources on the web. It’s been through five versions, the latest of which launched in December of 2019, and is still the best place to find LGBTQ+ owned and friendly accommodations and travel agents & tour operators.

Purple Unions

Purple Unions launched in 2003 as a combination LGBTQ+ wedding directory and social activist site. From 2008-2015 we chronicled the fight for marriage equality on our blog, and the site currently lists more than 2,000 LGBTQ friendly wedding vendors around the world.

Queer Sacramento Author’s Collective

This is Scott’s baby with Pat Henshaw and Christopher Koehler, three local Sacramento authors who came together in 2017 to create a local LGBTQ+ authors’ group. With over 50 members, QRI now attends 4-5 events a year, and hosts its own readings at local bookstores and the Lavender Library.

Queer Sci Fi

Launched in 2014, QSF was the first of our writing-related sites. It features daily new releases, discussions, and news about the LGBTQ+ speculative fiction world and science/sci fi related articles in general.

QueeRomance Ink

We launched QRI in early 2017, just after the collapse of All Romance eBooks in late 2016. It’s now the pre-eminent place to find queer romance books and authors, with more than 500 writers and 3700+ titles listed.
